The programme is in collaboration with 365Tribe – a change management and technology company that specialises in maximizing the adoption of Microsoft 365 tools.

Launch event
What’s a new programme without a waffle bar to launch it? We’ve arranged a relaxed drop-in session next week where everyone can:
- find out more about the programme
- enjoy some fresh, delicious waffles while they’re at it!
Promoting the programme internally, we’ve already had a promising number of submissions to become a Digital Champion, but we anticipate the drop-in format will encourage even more to sign up on the day.
The launch event is a great opportunity to:
- meet the 365Tribe team and ask any questions
- learn more about what it means to be a Digital Champion
- see a live demo of the Digital Champions environment
- hear how the programme will support anyone that signs up
For anyone that works for Luton Council, see this Viva Engage post for more details and to sign up now!
What’s involved?
Over the next 12 months, our Digital Champions will have the unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge and skills in tools such as:
- Teams
- OneNote
- SharePoint
- Planner
This will not only be of benefit to the champions themselves, helping them to work smarter and more efficiently, but to their colleagues, who can learn from their new-found expertise.
The programme offers:
- a bespoke and fully managed programme run by 365Tribe’s Microsoft 365 experts
- a supportive community of like-minded colleagues who are eager to grow and learn in various ways
- monthly live webinars, the latest tips and tricks, and a library of up-to-date videos to keep you engaged and informed
- opportunities to complete challenges and knowledge checks to earn digital badges and recognition
- a programme that is accessible to people of all existing knowledge levels, not just tech experts
- a manageable time investment of around 2 hours a week, fully supported by managers
Keeping up
Moving to Microsoft 365 represents a significant shift in our working practices, not dissimilar to the impact of the introduction of email more than 50 years ago.
Staying up to date and having the necessary skills is crucial for our services. By participating in the programme, our Digital Champions can develop the digital workplace skills that are becoming increasingly essential.
Look out for updates on how the programme is going!
