It has been a while since my last update, and a lot has happened. Over the summer, our first tranche of applications reached a critical stage at the same time, driven by the expiry of the old system contract and complicated by the entirely predictable challenge of annual leave.

Alongside preparation for an Organisational Change Assessment (OCA) for DDaT, the Digital Development team has continued to make strong progress across our low code platform programme.
A slightly shorter update from me this time, as I’ve been away for a long weekend at Love Supreme festival. It’s the end of sprint 5, and the main focus has been getting version 1 of the complaints app ready.
This is very much the first release, and once we get into UAT and then go-live, we’ll be able to iterate quickly with improvements and new features.

A month ago, we were laying the rails by agreeing patterns, shaping standards, and getting ready for delivery. Now the Liberty Create platform is up and running and we’ve just reached the end of Sprint 1.
