📢 We are live!

It’s been a surreal entry into local government delivering this project, and I’m genuinely excited to start seeing real engagement now the new website is live.

It’s been a surreal entry into local government delivering this project, and I’m genuinely excited to start seeing real engagement now the new website is live.

The new Luton Council website has been shaped directly by residents, staff and frontline services — reflecting what people told us they needed:

  • clearer pages
  • simpler language
  • better navigation
  • a site that works seamlessly on mobile

The new platform finally gives us the foundations to deliver this consistently and keep improving over time.

I’ll share a deeper dive in my regular update soon, but I wanted to mark the moment. This launch is a game‑changer — not just externally, but internally too. It strengthens our collective shift towards true user‑centred design, and that’s where our focus now needs to stay.
