Frontline Services: this project remains focused on implementing the domestic waste vendor module and integrating it with the internally developed low-code front end. While some challenges have arisen, the project team has worked collaboratively to maintain progress and keep delivery on track.

Regulatory Services: this project has now officially commenced with Arcus. Current activity is focused on introducing services to the product, establishing ways of working, and communicating the delivery approach and next steps for the implementation.

Looking back

Frontline Services: the past week has focused on testing service requests within the Bartec backend system in preparation for end-to-end testing. The low-code development team has also continued work on a number of service requests that are scheduled to go live in the near future.

Regulatory Services: the project team has spent the week working with services to prepare them for the next phase of delivery. Licensing has completed its list of activities, and any questions raised have been passed to the vendor, who has now provided responses to all queries.

It’s all good

Frontline Services: the project team has continued to make good progress, with service requests being developed and built into the low-code solution. Input from the content developers has been invaluable in helping to ensure a clear and effective resident journey across the new services.

Regulatory Services: workshops have now been scheduled for nearly all technical workstreams within the project. The Licensing team has completed the foundation configuration activities to a high standard and has also supported onboarding for the new Business Analyst from Transformation by providing an overview of their processes and ways of working.

It’s complicated

Frontline Services: end-to-end testing was delayed due to issues with the integration between the vendor API and the council’s low-code solution. Through close collaboration between developers on both sides, the issues have now been resolved, allowing testing activities to progress.

Regulatory Services: the foundation workshops provided services with a significant amount of information, which initially created some uncertainty around the next steps. In response, the project team has introduced individual service kick-off meetings to provide greater clarity, establish expectations, and ensure services are well prepared for the activities ahead.

Looking forward

Frontline Services: next week will be a key milestone for the project, with end-to-end testing planned for the service requests that are ready for release. This will provide assurance that the resident journey, integrations and back-office processes are functioning as expected before go-live.

Regulatory Services: the project team will continue working closely with services to capture their activities within the Foundation Configuration Log, which is a key requirement for the initial setup and configuration of the Arcus system. Individual service meetings will also continue to ensure services are supported and prepared for the next phase of delivery.
